CRC For Forestry

The CRC for Forestry is a new Australian national research consortium with headquarters in Hobart, Tasmania, linking leading Australian forest research organisations, companies, government agencies and universities in a forest science and management research and education partnership.

The CRC for Forestry comprises 29 partner organisations across Australia, including 22 forest industry companies and agencies, five universities, the CSIRO, and the Forest and Wood Products Research and Development Corporation.

The CRC for Forestry is funded under the Australian Government's CRC programme and will be resourced with partner contributions of $59 million over seven years,a nd $26.6 million from the Australian Government.
