Tasmania Together:
In perhaps the most significant industry commitment so far in the Tasmania Together process, the Forests Council signed a partnership agreement with the Tasmania Together Progress Board on the 9th June 2005.
The Forests Council supports the concept of Tasmania Together with particular reference to the long-term planning, consultative processes and collaborative action to work towards the achievement of a broadly agreed vision for Tasmania.
The Forests Council recognises that the achievement of this vision is a dynamic, long-term process, and that further review of particular benchmarks may be necessary to reflect the complexities of particular issues.
